What We Do
Garryvoe Vets are proud to meet and surpass the standards required to be recognised as a Veterinary Hospital. This means our staff, facilities, equipment and veterinary services are held to the highest possible standard to deliver exceptional care for your pet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are happy to maintain these impeccable standards as we believe they underpin the gold standard of care you expect from us and your pet deserves.
Consultations
Clinics are run for consultations by appointment Monday to Friday. We also run a Saturday morning clinic. We have a dedicated small animal team to deal with all of your pets’ needs.
Pet Food
Garryvoe Vets has an extensive range of products from cat and dog food, internal and external parasiticides, pet accessories and more. Our experienced staff will be able to help you choose the best food for your pet.
Health Checks
We provide both first opinion and referral care for our patients. Regular health checks are essential for managing your pets’ health. Annual check-ups usually suffice for most patients.
Microchipping
Microchipping is a simple procedure that allows for easy recovery of lost or stolen dogs. By law, from June 2015, all dogs must be microchipped, and contact details MUST be kept up to date.
Vaccinations
We vaccinate small and large animals, from dogs and cats to horses and cattle. Vaccinations are an integral part of your pets’ health. We offer vaccinations against a range of diseases across several species.
Blood testing and analysis
A blood test or lab test allows us to learn information about pets’ health which can only be found by collecting a sample of blood and having it analyzed. This includes a CBC and blood chemistries that analyze chemical components in the blood.
